Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,128 | Look at it this way -- You were "downsized" against your will, but instead of the usual corporate bottom-line forcing the downsizing, it was the cancer -- Many people recover from downsizing and find from looking back that what happened was that they were forced out of a rut into a new phase of their life, be it working or not, and their life was better for it!
