Martin's ENT consultant said :"We found nasties in the swollen lymphnode" when Martin asked if by nasties he meant cancer the the consultant said yes. I wasn't there as being too optimistic for my own good I didn't beleive it could possibly be cancer and Martin had also said no point in missing work to see the consultant. Like an idiot I listened to him. Martin then called me at work and told me. It was a shock but not really a surprise. I learnt soon not to listen to him and went to all the appointments, had all the extension numbers of the team and dragged him through his last 2 weeks of radiation.

Tonsilectomy 16th june, Radical modified neck dissection left side 30th june. 30 TX radiotherapy ended 9th October First comparative study scan came back clear
