He treated me for almost a month with antitbiotics. He then sent me to my first ENT. Both assuming I had a peritonsilar absess. My tonsils were removed the next morning. The ENT tells me now that he "knew" the minute the scapel touch it. He tried to tell my husband in the waiting room that morning, that there was a good chance it was cancer. My DH is not very good at those kind of word games so he missed it completely. I went to my follow-up appointment by myself. First this Doc said was "where's the rest of your family?" I said, "why do I need them for a re-check?" He then told me. There was lots of crying. He looked like it was his fault. He also got his staff on the phone to schedule every appointment I would need to get started. They also talked to each office telling them that I was unisured. He really went out of his way to help. He's a very good doctor. More importantly he is a very good man.
