I think the most profound change in my life has been that the biggest innocence we all carry from birth was shattered when I was told that I had to have surgery, radiation and chemo and after all that I only had a 60% chance of living for 5 more years. To this day if I verbally tell that story to a group or a camera I swell up like a baby. Whenever I read about someone Dx'ed with cancer I feel those emotions as well. It's been 31 months since I was Dx'ed and if anything my emotions are stronger.
