"Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts)    Joined:  Aug 2008  Posts: 531  |    No matter how much it may have put you on edge to have a follow up scan I have to say I think it would be worth it for the peace of mind it can bring.  I found out today that follow ups are not done here unless something shows up or is suspicious...They do not do random scans.  This makes me a bit nervous..        
Dianne..treatment at cc at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario...insulin dependant, Surgery Sept 8/08 Tracheotomy,composite resection and bilateral neck dissection, left radial forearm free flap... T2N0 squamous cell carcinoma. No radiation A little over 2 yrs clear YAY
