I'm currently 26 of 35 radiation treatments in, combined with Chemo. Had base of tongue surgery and neck dissection in February and reccurence in July. Had some issues getting into the site, but now that's fixed and so glad to get in and read and share. I love to cook (and eat) and just the other night I made soup stock very similar to JAM's, except instead of bullion cubes I used a chicken carcass from my wife's rotisserie chicken she fixed Wednesday, boiled it off for hours and strained it really well. It really looked (and smelled) great but just can't get it past the "razor blades" in my mouth and throat!! I just thank God that everyone "pushed the issue" with the peg tube. Took some getting used to but as of this past week it's becoming a great thing to have right now!! Looking forward to reading, sharing, and posting with everyone.
