Once I began to be able to swallow again following my treatments, I lived on matzo ball soup for well over a year. I would go to the local deli and buy 3 to 4 quarts of the stuff every couple of days and eat it for both lunch and dinner. People at the office were amazed that I could eat the same thing every meal, every day. But heck, it had enoug bulk to fend off the hunger and tasted pretty good. Then, when I would travel, I would pack a few quarts of it in a cooler bag and take it with me on airplanes and always take a little thermos of it to eat on the plane.
I have to tell you, now that I can eat most anything, I rarely eat the stuff, even at the deli, but I don't know how I would have gotten by without it.
