For the faint hearted in the kitchen- here is a quick and easy broth to make and then add whatever you like: In a large pot put
4 cups water,3 ribs of celery with leaves- coarsly chopped, 4 bullion cubes[EITHER beef or chicken],1 peeled and chopped carrot, 1 onion chopped and simmer for 20 minutes. Keep or puree or discard the veggies[your choice] After this stage you can add spinach, green beans, peas, corn [any canned, fresh or frozen veggie you like]
and\or add canned chicken or skinless chicken breasts if you used chicken bulion cubes] If you used beef bullion, you can add left over pot roast or beef roast chopped, etc. You can add potatoes or rice or noodles or matso balls- then simmer until the additions are done.
