Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Stephan, you will be fine as soon as they get you preped and ready for surgery. I can't tell you not to be nervous because you would be anyway. I been put to sleep so many times for so many things, I think of it as for every minute I am out that I get and extra month to live. LOL I know that is a dumb way to do it, but it does help me relax. You will wake up after and might not feel as bad as you thought you would. Good Luck tomorrow and I pray for the best results for you.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
