Scared,
You have found the best sight to polish your caregiving skills. You will receive lots of support emotionally and technically. Continue to read, read, read. There will be days when this will shock you, make you cry, but I think you are like me...you don't want to be blindsided by something that a little research would have prevented.

Knowledge is power and a good support group is even more powerful! We will see you through this one way or another as each of us has something to give to you.

Thinking of you as you start your walk "thru the storm." I have posted these lyrics from that song before..it helped me when I was at my lowest:

TREATMENT START: 8/9/07 cisplatin/taxol X 7..IMRT twice daily X 31.5.
TREATMENT END: 10/1/07
PEG OUT: 1/08
PORT OUT: 4/09
FOLLOWUP: Now only annual exams. ALL CLEAR!
