Last Wednesday when my mom was admitted to the hospital they noticed white patchy stuff in the middle of her tongue. It hasn't gone away. I asked them to take a culture, and it came back negative for infection. I requested a brush biopsy, but the resident didn't think it was anything to be alarmed about. Given her history or oral cancer, I'm always alarmed when anything develops in her mouth. She has since been discharged from the hospital, so I made a frantic call to her ENT where she received treatment and requested an appointment. We're scheduled for Friday. Has anyone had any anything similar 1.5 years post treatment? I'm going to have to wear diapers for the next four days, this rollercoaster ride is doing a number on my stomach.
