Saying prayers for you and your mom, Dani... I know first-hand that the waiting and what-ifs can be excruciating... I sat by the phone for an entire day a few months back, waiting to hear from my ENT after a biopsy, and I jumped through the roof every time the phone rang...

Like the others have said, think through options and what-ifs but try to stay in the moment and not let the not-yet-confirmed possibilities overwhelm you too much... And be sure to remind me of this whenever I go back through the ringer of tests and the like... Be well...

Tongue cancer (SCC), diagnosed Oct. 2003 (T2 N0 M0). Surgery to remove tumor. IMRT Radiation 30x in Dec 2003 - Jan. 2004. Recurrence lymph node - radical neck dissection June 2004. Second round of rad/chemo treatments ended Sept. 2004.
