Hello,
Thanks to everyone for your imput following my earlier questions. I am due back at the hospital tomorrow, to discuss (albeit) limited options, re chemo, etc.
I wondered if anyone had any thoughts about these questions I have for my doctors.I know you may all think I am clutching at straws, but hell why not?!
Given that I appear to be symptom free (although my shoulders are now very tense and I panic at every twinge in case it's on the march) should I ask for a biopsy or would this just be a) putting myself through pain and hope for no gain and b) cause it to spread faster?
Since the surgeon, oncologist and radiologist have all looked at the CT scan (6months post treatment) would a second opinion on the results be pointless?
What can I expect them to tell me after the chest xray they took last week, (after breaking the news)?
Doeas anyone have any information about radiosurgery used for lung mets? I have read about a hospital in NY (?) and if there was any point, I could, if fit enough, travel.
Please accept my apologies if I am asking too much, but I am just canvassing opinion before seeing the doctors. I only had about 10 minutes with them last week and there was so much to deal with, as you can imagine.
Thank you!
