The RO called today and said that everything looked ok with the biopsy. He really didn't give an explanation on what caused it. He has a heavy foreign accent, so they are waiting until Monday for the face to face meeting with him before we get too comfortable with this.
Dad started radiation today. I had provided him with a book that I found online at another site and he found it most helpful as well as the information I was able to pass along to him from here. He said it prepared him for what was going to happen today. He said that at one point he felt his face getting warm. To the point where he broke out in a sweat. Is that normal? It makes sense but I just haven't heard anyone mention that before out here.
Dad is doing exceptionally well these past two weeks. His heart seems to be improving which makes him less tired, so he has been going into town more. The more he has been in town, the more he has interacted with people. People who are unaware of what has happened to him. I think because he has been able to communicate with people and they understand him, it has built up his confidence level. He is aware that because of the radiation he may have some bad days ahead, but he knows that will go away eventually. He's got a great PMA right now. Here's to hoping it will stay that way!
Thanks to everyone for your support.
