Also, with an FNAB, I had all mine, about 10, under ultrasound guidance done by a pathologist, not an ENT, who looks at the sample right then and there. Sometimes they may tell you the results, but is always sent out for in-house for further pathology and confirmation. All mine were 100% correct, either good or bad. Mainly bad frown but at least there was no monkeying around fishing or need for a surgical biopsy.
