Well, friends, my hubby is scheduled for another surgery on Monday to repair a broken jaw. Two weeks ago, he had an infection brewing in the same area of his fistula. While eating breakfast one morning, he heard a pop and experienced excruciating pain. Off to the Emergency Department where it was determined he had broken his jaw. Thank you radiation, for killing the cancer cells but, darn it, you have stealthily sneaked in once again to remind us that you are the gift that keeps on giving! His surgery is on Monday. The big question is: did the infection cause the break or did the break result in infection. The surgeon will know what he has to do once he gets in there. Geez, can my man ever get a break?

I know many of you out there have been right where Clark is today and I write knowing that you all get it. But I need to hear you. Please send me some encouraging words. I NEEED them NOW! He is totally bummed out and discouraged. There is a bit of the unknown here as his anatomy is sooooo different from the norm. But I know we are in a good place---HUP.But this is an efffin drag. Geez, he has been drinking ALL his meals, he is in PAIN, jaw is out of alignment....

I have been very quiet lately. But I have reached my limit and I am asking for support. Not doing FB this time...too public.

My best to you all
Anita
