haha, that is what my wife says about me. Just kidding, I am serious. I a 4 years out of treatment. Generally doing well. About as fit as I was before treatment, have not gained much weight back, that is OK. But I am getting quite a bit of pain in my neck lately. Especially, when I turn my head a certain way. Actually it is a radiating pain across my neck and face on the right side. That is also where I got most of my radiation. I have been to neurologist and my oncologist. Several MRIs, no tumors...very good and also no apparent pinching of a nerve as it exits my spine. Opioid drugs help a bit but do not stop it.I have tried Soma with zero results and neurotin with no results. I am also getting PT, 8 sessions, but I am not seeing any solid results. So it hurts when I look in a certain direction, up and to the right. It also hurts when I get on my bike for maybe 10 min, then OK. the general consensus of the neurologist, oncologist and PT guy is that fibrosis is pinching a nerve.
So has anyone experienced neck pain several years post treatment? I am thinking of seeing a pain specialist. I can live with the pain but I would rather not.
Thanks, Steve
