Yesterday's surgery went well. Linda is closed up and stable. Her pulmonologist was there yesterday pm. While we don't yet have pathology back, he painted a very grim picture re the cancer and how much it spread. We'll wait til we talk to onc. and get all the results before we get really freaked out but, honestly, I hsve never been more afraid of what the future holds. Even if she makes it through the current crises, there's still the cancer to face. I feel sick in the face of all this.


David R. 65 yr old male non-smoker, light drinker, stage 3 or 4, depending on which doc you ask, scc rt. tonsil, 2 nodes, 7 weeks radiation and chemo. No surgery. Teatment ended 3/20/08. PET scan 8/08 showed no cancer.
And now, as of oct, 2010, caregiver to wife, Linda, with breast cancer.
May, 2013, Linda diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. Enuf already.
