Bear in mind that Jevity and commercial offshoots like Ensure were the first choice of NASA which were intrigued by their advantages for astronauts (light, liquid, no fuss etc). But the astronauts revolted and refused to use them, Not one space program today uses any of that canned stuff, instead "space age food" turns out to be real food, carefully prepared.
