Patrick, years before I had to deal with all this I was on Prozac for a couple of periods of time and felt it very effective. But I think the other posters are right, there are others equally so and in fact I think many docs regard Prozac as an old-line med at this point. A few years ago a neurologist prescribed Celexa, which seemed to work for me.

My advice would be to speak either with a neurologist or preferably a psychiatrist. I would think your cancer docs could recommend someone good.
