Hi every one, after I had the chat with you guys.. we went to see the doc charged with many questions.. but by then they had already decieded to operate on him .. they are calling it cleaning... and may be an hour procedure to remove that dead part. Btw the pain has also reduced . so we r happy .he is going to OR on 22nd of march. we are very optimistic.the docs hace explained many things ... yes Angelia they said they think he got necrosis due to radition but with surgery they will do biospy n find for sure why it happened.
They also reduce the hydromorphone . he is not that drowsy but still lost .. his short term memory loss is still here.
will this go away?I wonder....

taking care of my father in law who was diagnosed with stage 2 Squamous-cell carcinoma in march 2010. had surgery done in April , recurrence in sept2010, RT and cetaxomab done in oct n November. still on peg tube. he has tongue necrosis..... developed lymphoedema after radiation.
