My husband and I registered to be bone marrow donors years ago. About 6 months ago I received a routine email asking me to update my information. I did and soon after that I received an email telling me that I was being removed from the donor registry. The only change since the last update was my chemo and radiation for SCC on my tongue.

SCC age 53 left tongue, floor of mouth, gums in 10/06, BOT 8/10. Never smoked, HPV-. Partial glossectomy 1/07. Additional tumors removed 3/07, 5/08 and 6/08. Surgery 8/09 w/graft. Cisplatin, Erbitux, Taxotere 1/10 Erbitux & radiation 4/10. Esophogeal stricture 8/12.
