Re the winking, I don't know if this means anything, but I had an aunt who had a continual winking in one eye and she never had cancer or any kind of H/Neck surgery. At various times, later in life, I had a few winking eye episodes but they never lasted more than a few days at a time. I thought it was something hereditary but I have noticed that since my divorce, more than 20 years ago, my winking episodes have disappeared. I also don't get headaches anymore since the big D.
