I should be leaving the hospital tomorrow (fingers crossed) to go home with feeding tube, trach tube and mouth wired shut. Stitches/staples will come out a week from today, others will go as things progress. After the long, hard road to get this trach in, as much as I want it gone, I am not ready to do another 1 1/2 hour awake trache procedure. I will just leave it for a couple of weeks to see how the surgery made out...in case they have to go back in.

Thanks everyone...I have moved my stuff back to fibular flap...noting that it failed.
