The biopsy of my thyroid gland shows papillary thyroid CA, which is the most common thyroid cancer and the most easily treatable. The lymph node biopsy was insufficient for any type of diagnosis. So, I am being scheduled for surgery which will involve removing the thyroid as well as the mouth lesion and the lymph node all at once. I am thankful the for the thyroid diagnosis and still praying for a negative report on the lymph node and mouth lesion. Hopefully the surgery will be scheduled in the next week or two.
