You know Sue & Lori....I never thought of it that way before but you are sooooooo right. That really was a stupid comment. Personally I had chalked up that comment to being a bit of dramatic flair as everyone here knows that she could not personally "refuse to let him die". I was happy however that they acknowledged the role of the caregiver, but you are so very right that particular comment really is a stupid one.

Good to see you again Lori. Patients and other caregivers certainly benefit from having people like you and Sue pop in and help out so WHEN you feel up to it, we look forward to hearing more from you.

In the meantime - be kind to yourselves. As caregivers extrodinaire, you truly are doing God's work and you are appreciated.
