Platinum Member (300+ posts) Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 440 | Okay Charm, I just left the GI docs office (now waiting for my next test) and he ended up doing the silver nitrate sticks on me (ouch!) and then gave me a script for steroid cream....betamethasone. I asked about the triacet and he said i could try it but he hasn't heard of too many patients with luck on using it. I asked if the hypergranulation ends up comign back and he said chances are yes but then there are some that it doesn't, I pray I'm one of those lucky few. The "extra" tissue is suppose to slough off in a day or two--yippee!!
