So far the search of OCF board for treating the granulation tissue on the PEG stoma has come up with going to the doctor/hospital that put in the PEG and getting an application from silver nitrate sticks. Just another hassle of the PEG, but has anybody had any luck with using a low dose cortisone cream (Triacet 0.1%) for 5-7 days to help remove the hypergranulation tissue. ?
I will ask my ENT for a prescription when I see her this week but was hoping someone out there had this or some other treatment I could do at home rather then yet another Georgetown Hospital visit.
