I have also suffered hearing damage from Cisplatin with constant ear ringing and some high frequency hearing loss. I was warned to watch for ringing as a bad sign just prior to my first Chemo session. I noticed it immediately following the session and notified the Oncology staff. I was then switched to another flavor of Chemo for the balance. Only problem was, the damage had already occurred. Oh well, at least I'm still here to hear the ringing!
