It is most likely latent damage from the Cisplatin but could be something else. I started having ringing of the ears years ago after a nasty respiratory virus and my right ear is affected to this day.
It is annoying but you do get used to it and forget about it most of the time.
Did you have your hearing checked before treatment to get a baseline. I would have it checked now so you know that aside from the ringing, you don't have hearing loss.

PORT OUT: 4/09
FOLLOWUP: Now only annual exams. ALL CLEAR!
