OP Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | I have a pain area on my gum when I brush. It is on the left side on the back part. Hard to describe where it is. It has been there a few days. It just showed up, there was not warning at all. When I look at it, I do not see anything, but it sure is painful. I have also noticed it is getting more painful to eat on that side as well. My next appt. with the ENT is not until Sept. 8 or 9th. Should I wait that long if this thing does not change or gets worse. SHould I try to get in sooner.
