Almost to two years post treatment, and have the usual neck fibrosis from radiation, and shoulder pain and limitation from neck dissection. However, I also notice that I have increasing muscle pain and stiffness in back and legs after exercising or doing work.

I can do just about anything I did before treatment, except that things requiring arms to be shoulder level or higher for extended period causes a fair amount of discomfort. My golf game is actually better than it was, and I still care for the yard, etc. etc. -- I just pay for it more the next day. And this is more significant and constant than just growing older. ;-)

Anybody else experience anything similar?

I am 18 months out and notice it in my shoulders. I mention this to the Drs and they sort of say ....we did not do rads on your shoulders ? But it seems like I do feel it more now after doing a lot of yard work. Perhaps in my mind or just collateral damage. Although it has not seemed to help golf game...maybe I need more Rads...maybe not ! Played 108 holes the other weekend and was sore but I do think that was more to old age and not being in golf shape. Maybe your better golf is from a slower swing ? Still trying to get that concept through my hard head !

The shoulder pain could be due to the Neck Dissection.
