Patty,

I'm so sorry to hear the latest news. I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and remember miracles do happen!

Just remember not to overdo it and enjoy each day, and like Christine said smell the flowers, enjoy a rainbow, and play with your dogs. And dont forget to stop in here to say hello also!

Hi Patty- I am amazed by your strength.... So sorry to hear about the scan. I'm so glad that you have such a strong support system. It must be of great comfort to have such wonderful people surrounding you and helping you deal with all of this. Try and rest and just everyone pitch in to tie up loose ends for you....Everything will fall into place.

You are a very loved woman. I wish there were better words or things to say that were more uplifting or hopeful in some way.

Just know that your attitude and fighting invincible spirit are an inspiration to many many people. LOVE kate

I sure am glad that I have the well wishes of you all. I am lonesome and not have as good of a day today. The hospice nurse will be here soon so I can meet her. Maybe I will feel better then.?

Hey there. It's funny how you can be lonesome-sometimes even when you're surrounded by people. When you feel lonesome just remember we are all here surrounding you with love and hugs and wishing you all good things. I'm glad the hospice nurse is coming today - she may end up being your best friend and ally. I think being the oldest person is hospice is an awesome goal - go for it!!! Hope your day improves. Sounds like you've got a lot going on - git 'er done and take care.

Love - Nancy T

Hi Patty,

I wish I was close to you I would give you a big hug.. then I would pick up Christine and we would come and paint with you. We would understand when you feel cranky and don't want to talk:)

How was the hospice nurse? I have heard wonderful things about hospice. My uncle and my husbands aunt both had hospice care and had wonderful experiences.

Love,
Suzanne

Patty, I wish I was closer so I could help and visit with you. It would be alot of fun having a painting party. Im a lousy painter but sure do put my all into it. Suzanne and I would help you and we would cheer you up. Especially Suzanne, she is very cheery and peppy too smile

Just remember anytime you are feeling low, you have a whole group here in your corner.

Patty - I'm too tired to read all of the posts...what kind of dog do you have that you've not been able to find a home for?

I might be thousands of miles away, but I am always thinking of you and wishing I was able to be there to help support you in whatever way I can.
