HI EVERY ONE I JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS, THOUGHTS, AND CONCERNS.
OK HERE GOES THE DR TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL BE REMOVING THE TOP JAW BONE FROM THE LAST TOOTH ON THE RIGHT SIDE TO THE NEXT TO THE LAST TOOTH ON THE LEFT SIDE.REMOVAL OF THE TUMOR THAT IS A LITTLE OVER 4 CM IN SIZE AND ALL DAMAGED TISSUE.HE ALSO SAID THAT CANCER HAD GOTTEN INTO TWO TO LIMP NODES THAT WILL BE REMOVED BUT THE GREAT NEWS IS THAT THE CANCER DIDN'T MAKE IT ANY FURTHER IN MY BODY.HE SAID ALSO THAT THE CANCER WAS A STAGE 4 AND THEY WOULD PROBLE BE DOING RAD TREATMENT ABOUT 6 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY BUT WOULDN'T KNOW FOR SURE INTILL AFTER SURGERY WHEN HE GETS THE PATHOLAGY REPORT BACK.OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WENT WELL. AND AGAIN I WOUD LIKE TO THINK EACH AND EVERY ONE THAT HAS TALKED WITH ME,PRAYED FOR ME,AND WHAT EVER GOD HAS IN STORE FOR ME I WILL BE HAPPY.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER ONLY GOD KNOWS THE OUT COME NOT THE DR'S. SO KEEP UP YOUR FAITH IN GOD AND KEEP FIGHTING

Raymond, I can't say it's good news about what they plan to have to do to/for you, but it is good news that it hasn't spread too far!!!

Keep reading the forum for various tips from the experiences of the rest of us so your journey into this stuf is less of an unknown, to make parts of it easier and hopefully to avoid some of the after-effects. It will be a real roller-coaster ride for sure and we are all here to help each other get through it.

You might also consider having whoever is standing by you through all this read the forum also, because whatever they learn here will help both you and them.

Raymond, Sounds like you have an excellent attitude going into all of this. It is going to be a tough ride, but I'm sure you will find the strength to endure whatever is ahead of you. Keep posting and let us know how things are. My prayers are with you, and everyone on this board. Take care. Linda
