I hope that I have this in the correct form. Has anyone had experience with the Erbitux rash on other parts of their body than their face and also a couple of weeks after the last treatment??

I'm going to call the Oncologist's office Monday and I have looked through all of the info that I have on the treatment. I can find documentation regarding the rash on the face and upper body in one article.

My last treatment was 12/22 and I have what looks like the Erbitux rash on my legs increasing over the past week.

Thanks
Patty

That does sound strange, Patty. I got the rash on my face, chest and back but I don't think it ever spread elsewhere. Have you been taking anything for it?

Erbitux does have a long half-life, so it still could be in your system, but a call to the doc sounds like a good idea.

Not taking anything right now. I do have a prescription acne cream that they gave me. I put it on some of it. It is weird I think, but I do not know how long it stays in your system.

Thanks though Margaret at least I know that some people do get the rash on places other than their face. I had it on my nose, cheeks and forehead but then it cleared up. Then this started.

Patty - my husband had a weird break-out for a couple of weeks after his treatment ended too. It was on his legs, butt, back. He didn't go back on the acne meds (he had taken them at the beginning of treatment) and in just a little while it all disappeared. Washing the body with Head and Shoulders seemed to help. Odd, but true.

Head and Shoulders - that does sound funny but I will try it. The Dr's office says it is highly possible that is what's going on so I will just watch it. Side effects means that it's working in my pea brain.

Thanks Wendy.
