I took it as a rejection also. I really don't expect to hear from them again. I don't really have time to take another half day off from work anyway.

It would have been nice if they had been more specific as to what they were looking for so people who didn't meet their profile didn't waste their time making videos and going to interviews. Will be interesting to see if any of us qualify.

Take care,
Eileen

Maybe those that haven't heard yet, will get a different email saying that they were picked.

Or, maybe Terry hasn't gotten around to writing them all yet.

If you have a SPAM Folder, check in there -- The EMail filter may have decided it was spam -- My Yahoo EMail does that often enough that I routinely check the folder.

They are likely culling the clips and sending notices to the not-chosen as they go -- If I were an actor, I'd like to know as soon as possible that I wasn't chosen so I could make decisions about other jobs.

I wrote and asked specifically for him to be more clear...that I appreciated the chance to participate, and that I am delighted that OC will finally get the attention that it deserves, but that if I am clearly not going to be part of the project, I will make plans to use the time for something else. I"ll report back if I hear. His letter was clearly basically the same for each of us, but was personalized also, and I appreciate that.

I hope that some from OCF are chosen, since this site is a very important factor in recovery for all of us!

Another one here with the same email language. Darn, and I thought my boyish charm and dashing looks would wow them . . .

All is not over yet, until Colleen gets an answer to her email. It may still be that we all are still in the running.

Of course, if anyone receives a first email that says they're in, then that would pretty much clear up the confusion in the emails that we have received.
