hello all and blessings,
just to update you on what's happening- we've received lots of info on what to expect post-op, and spoke to a laryngectomee who's been living 15 years with a stoma. he was wonderful, and cheered Del up. he was actually laughing! we also recieved the electro-larynx today. so, as we prepare for next thurs. with some anxiety, at least we're better armed with lots of information. our daughter will also fly in during the hospitalization. that's a big comfort.
i'll keep posting, and i want to thank everyone for their prayers and healing thoughts.

Hi Emma,
I had my surgery in August 2001. I have a TEP so did not use electro-larynx. Will he be able to have a TEP in the future? If you have any questions, either post on board or email me rather than private message. If you would like to talk, email me and I will give you my phone number.

Take care,
Eileen
