I'm new here. I'm 22 years old, have white spots at the back of my tongue, and 3 dark red spots on the inside of my cheek. Should I worry?

Hello iplay, I think that any unusual bumps or spots that concern you should be shown to your doctor; then you will have a better idea if you should start to worry.

I would recommend that you make an appointment with your dentist and have everything looked at. If they have been there two weeks already, then they should be at least brush biopsied.

Good luck,

Barb

Hello iplayloudly,

Welcome to the Oral cancer Foundation.

Anything that doesn't heal in two weeks should be further evalulated by a ENT for a biospy. You can go to the dentist as barb suggested and have a brush biospy but sometimes they will read a false negative. If done at a ENT he with either do a punch or cut some out for the biospy. You will receive a pathlogy report detailing what it is.
Believe me you want to catch this at it's earliest stage to have a positive outcome from any treatment needed.
Remember this: It Ain't Cancer Til the Pathlogy
Says it is!!!! From your birthdate it would be rare to have SSC at such a young age.
Please keep us posted as you find out. We love to hear good news.

All my Best, Danny Boy

Why do you feel you are at risk? Do you chew tobacco? You should see an ENT. We can't really give you medical advice or diagnosis here.

You aren't AKA playdrv4me are you?
