#6214 10-03-2005 04:41 AM | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 20 Member | OP Member Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 20 | and all went well.had all nodes removed from left side of neck and shoulder.left shoulder is stiff as a board and neck feels as if its about to cramp all the time. the great thing is they were able to leave all the mmuscle and only did slight damage to my smile and shoulder.physical therapy should take care of the shoulder.i go back tomorrow for a checkup and get path reports on the nodes they took out.i am feeling better each day and am getting my strength back. thanks for all of the support from this site, it really made a difference. mo | | |

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
