My husband has started running fever. I called the doctor last night and he told me to have a blood count done today.

I am worried a little because we have had a sick child in the house. I have kept them apart, I wash my hands constantly, etc. But I am not sure that is enough.

The doctor said that I was to let them know if the fever topped 100.5-101.0. This morning he is at 100.7. I gave him tylenol.

Any advise about how to deal with fever and when I should panic?

Cindy, I wish I could give you good information specific to the fever. I did not have chemo so I don't know what effects that may have with regard to fever.

In any case please don't panic, continue to pester the doctor and let him/her tell you what to do next. It is OK to call them any time you need to. You have good sense and if you don't feel things are right with Harry then call them (make them work for those fees ).
