Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,384 Likes: 1 | Cindy, I wish I could give you good information specific to the fever. I did not have chemo so I don't know what effects that may have with regard to fever. In any case please don't panic, continue to pester the doctor and let him/her tell you what to do next. It is OK to call them any time you need to. You have good sense and if you don't feel things are right with Harry then call them (make them work for those fees ). 
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
