Yes, the hearing loss does temper the good news abit. I have read that there can be some hearing loss, hopefully in your case as with some it is minimal.
Norma Steele/Husband, Gordon, dx 1/17/06 w/ SCC secondary, left neck nodes mass, occult primary. Started chemoradiation 2/17/06, completed 4/5/06 (Weekly Cisplatin & 39 IMRT rads tx) In addition, I am a 9 yr breast cancer survivor.

Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | Congrats on the clean scan and sorry to hear about the hearing loss. Given that the chemo did that to you, it's good they stopped it when they did. I also was only able to have two chemos and so far I'm good......
