 Joined:  Dec 2003 Posts: 116 |  I am not sure if Helen's brothter intends to post for her, but I wanted everyone to know that he emailed me to say Helen's surgery went "as expected" and it lasted 8 hours. She is currently in intensive care. He got to see her for a bit yesterday and today; she gave him the thumbs up sign and has been communicating by head movements and notes. Whooohooo, Helen!

IMRT Radiation 30x in Dec 2003 - Jan. 2004. Recurrence lymph node - radical neck dissection June 2004. Second round of rad/chemo treatments ended Sept. 2004.

   SCC Stage IV left tonsil neck disection 3/02 radiation finished 6/02 chemo finished 9/02
 Stage 2A left breast cancer 3/09, chemo and radiation, finished treatment 2/7/10 -Stage 2 right beast cancer 10/14 chemo and radiation
 Every day is still a gift :-)

 Kris, I'll send these to her brother ASAP. Great idea. I don't think Helen has internet access at the hospital.
