Hi- I jusy had a laser removal of a big granuloma (size of a candy corn) on the floor margin of where I had a hemiglossectomy with forearm flap reconstruction in 2004 at UCLA by Dr Keith Blackwell (skilled is an understatement) . Just an FYI apparently granulomas can be common from residual sutures. Now living in NY, I had it done at Sloan Kettering in NYC as I ascribe to "the best" in medical care and " you only have one chance for a succesful first surgery."
SCC L oral tongue T1N0M0 no chem no rad.

Hello, I also have a granuloma. Wanting to know if this was a painful procedure and about how long
it takes them. \

Thanks - trying to work up nerve

Partial mandibulectomy and neck dissection 2/3/07. T2NOMO.
Had 14 hour operation which included reconstruction of jaw.
Reconstruction failed. Some radiation, no chemo.
