I have numb lip, chin and jaw area from a segmental mandibularectomy done in September wheby the the jaw nerve was cut. I believe some biopsies can be wrong based on inadequate sampling, handling/human error, experience. I think that's why when I wanted a consult a top CCC they wanted my original biopsy slides, and another, do their own confirmation for treatment by direct biopsy.
Good luck

Im so glad you are living by our mantra... "Its NOT cancer til the biopsy says its cancer". That will help make this a little easier to handle mentally.
Hopefully the lump where your jaw surgery was is just scar tissue and nothing serious. Wishing you all the very best with these 2 "spots". Please check back and tell us how you make out.
Best wishes! You are absolutely right .
It is not cancer until a biopsy says it is.
Keep that mantra going in your head. Keep busy. Remember that this could be a number of different things . Sending many positivel vibes and thoughts your way. Tammy

Im sure you must feel like the weight of the world is off your shoulders with the biopsy being negative for cancer.
What has your doc suggested to eliminate the frictional keratosis with ulceration? If not it would be a very good investment. I would use warm water with a few capfuls of non-alcohol mouthwash mixed in. Use the waterpik on its lowest setting to go between every one of your teeth. It definitely will help to keep your mouth nice and clean.
