Hi I have hard node at left side of neck where my tonsil is enlarged at that side. Fell chocking feeling when going to sleep. also hurts to swallow. had lots of ear pains for past 3 years told its nothing! had lot of ear infections and small red spot and fluid remains. Small amount weight loss and night sweats and now enlarged group nodes top of leg with ultrasound. they feel tender too. Worried. Gp sjut said be nothing! My ear hurts if I press the node in neck which feels hard. Would it swell up a lot more if was serious?

If this was me or a Family member I would get to an ENT specialist. One that specialises in head and neck cancers, not just ears and grommets for kids.
This way you can get an appropriate check and hopefully reassurance.
Good luck. Tammy

My dear, I am shocked and saddened to hear that your GP has dismissed these findings and complaints that are big red flags. As Tammy suggested, get thyself to a head and neck oncologist ASAP.

You also need to have the enlarged nodes in your leg evaluated, as well!

It's hard exactly where to steer you as you have not filled in your signature, which can be done at the drop down menu at the top of this page and select "edit profile".

I wish you all the best in getting to a qualified professional swiftly.

Please come back to keep us posted and to get any help that you may need.

Best wishes!
Kerri
