I hope her family will know how much she is missed by her OCF family. For me, this sad news is another reminder of how fleeting life is and how important is to always appreciate and enjoy each moment we have with those closest to us whether they are on the other side of the world or sitting right next to us. Rest in Peace, dear Gabe.

Each loss reminds me how precious and short life is.
I recall many on-line discussions with Gabe - a kind and compassionate person. I also knew here via FB and enjoyed seeing pictures of her beautiful family and her feathered friends.
Rest in Peace Gabe! You will be missed!

Stage 4b BOT and node on right of throat. did 38 trips of TOMO PEG tube,Cysplatin,Taxotere & 5fu 1st 4th and 7th week, changed to Erbitux for the last 4 weeks. 1st PETS since end of TX..CLEAR 6mos out and 2 nodes are hot. Bilateral neck dissection on 10/31/08. Clear Scan 3/31/09 & 8/02/2010
