Good prognosis with no radiation recommended at this time. Possible skin graft to site depending on amount of tissue removed, either thigh or neck.
Anyone with similar diagnosis/treatment? Looking for support and encouragement, and what to expect from surgery/recovery/reoccurence?

The surgery wasn't as bad as I thought, my problems came after radiation. I was hoping not to have radiation, but my margins did not come back clean. You will be fine, and keep your Spirits and attitute high. Best wishes to a quick, non radiation needed recovery!

Your diagnosis is really good actually, Here is a link to a study done almost 15 years ago where they tracked 42 patients with a T1N0M0 diagnosis over 70 months. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10226980In clinical follow-up, 6 patients developed local recurrences and 5 patients lymph node metastases. Three patients died of disease. Where obviously there's no 100% guarantees, I'd say the odds are in your favor, so keep your head up. E

Recovery depends on the extent of the procedure and the patient.
