Your body is telling you something by producing it, and you should listen. Eventually it progresses to dysplasia, and then on to malignancy. Continuing the use of tobacco will bring multiply bad things to your life. Oral cancer is just one of them. Heart disease and other cancers are all associated with tobacco use. Of course it is highly addictive, so besides understanding what is happening to you biologically, you have to find a way to break the addiction. Reading the stories of people here who have been lost to cancer, the families they leave behind, the pain they endure, and even in those that survive who go on to live with difficulties. this should be enough to motivate you to change this habit. Vikas this forum is for people who are in the fight. You have a chance to avoid all this. Please find an online support forum to help you quit smoking

I had just one small white spot on my upper gum which my dentist diligently followed for 9 years before it actually progressed to dysplasia and then diagnosed as a squamous cell carcinoma. Vikas, please start with your dentist and he/she can do an oral cancer screening with a brush biopsy which is not invasive. Even if it if that comes back negative, they can follow you closely and order a biopsy if that should ever be necessary.

Vipassana will only help you become better!
As mentioned over the phone and also suggested by Brian, you go through the forum to understand how we all are fighting this dreaded disease. If that also does not help, I am ready to take you to RGCI so that you can see the suffering.
Leukoplakia is a early signal that you have got, a warning! QUIT SMOKING AND DRINKING.
