I don't post names and contacts like that on the board, but I noticed that you have the email function on your profile turned off, so I am unable to send them to you. If you would like the info, either email me, or turn the email function on in the "my profile link" at the top of the forum page. Welcome to OCF, we're all here for you.

It's even rubbing off on me, stupid as it is. By the by, the folks in San Franciso and LA would have a word with you, since they are so fond of saying "I live in THE city"..... Truth is, there are wall to wall cities in So Cal with nothing in between them. No place where one stops and another begins that is decernable. It is one F----n parking lot covered with concrete. You can drive from southern OC to northern LA county and never leave a city. No matter what you call it, in my book (except for at the beach) it all just sucks. I miss my life in the mountains of Tahoe, but the dry air and my xerostomia would never tolerate each other. And as if THE has some exclusivity to NYC, those from that area are proud of saying that they just live at THE lake!!!! But we are hijacking an importnat thread.......so I'll quit here.

I'm new to this site, too, and am here to help my husband deal with this nastiness. I've been so heartened by all of you who are in treatment, or who are in recovery and who take the time to post notes here. He's just had one Cisplatin infusion (8/4), and he's taking 1650mgx2 of Xeloda daily until next Wednesday, and while he's finally beginning to feel better, he's just amazed at all of you who have the energy to sit at a computer and write. He's a high-energy guy, but boy, until this past Wednesday, he was, what he would call, a "wuss!" He is anxious to hear about your PETscan and we both wish you the very best. You will be included in our daily prayers. Nicki
